Obesity is Not Hereditary

I have great compassion for anyone fighting obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease or even Obsessive-compulsive disorder.  All of these can cause great suffering to your health, wealth and emotional stability.

When most coaching clients begin telling me about their health goals, many mention that their health condition is hereditary.  I have to stop them and let them know that there is no health condition that is passed on through genes from their parents.

This is really good news.  That means that nobody’s health is doomed based on their family’s health history.  However, the environment you grew up or the beliefs your family instilled in your brain can have a huge impact on your health.

Your body is responding to your thoughts, beliefs and both physical and emotional stress.  If one of your caregivers had battles with their thyroid and/or weight, you may have adopted beliefs based on what you heard and witnessed.  These beliefs created your state of health.

You can break any cycle…but you have to be able to understand how your thought process has impacted your health.  I know this all may sound wild, but there is much scientific evidence that will back this up.

You Have Not Heard it All When it Comes to Law of Attraction & Health

I know, you think you've heard it all before, but you haven't. And that's a BIG part of the problem; you haven't been given the right information about what really works when it comes to having a healthy, fit body you love living in. In fact, almost 90% of what you believe about food and exercise and your body is totally bogus!

You never need to worry about food, exercise or the state of your health ever again.  The only reason anybody, including YOU, would ever have anything less than optimal regarding your body is resistance.  Yep, that's it.

The resistance can be about what you are eating or not eating.  It can be that you worry about smoking.  Or maybe the resistance is about your lack of income.  But if you have ill feelings about ny topic, it will reflect itself in your body if you don't correct it.

My favorite health expert, David Di Francesco, and I are not fooling you when they say that you can have the super fit, attractive body you've always wanted without depriving yourself of the foods you love or slogging through some kind of fascist fitness regime. They understand if you're a bit skeptical at this point, but give us a chance to share what we have learned to be true...

Look, we all know what it's like to be frustrated and unhappy with the way you look and feel. We've experienced the merry-go-round of feeling hopeful and inspired by the newest diet or cure-all only to end up disappointed, depressed and slightly disgusted with ourselves when we didn't get the results we wanted.

Living in a way that supports well-being truly is easy and REVOLUTIONARY!  It will change the way you feel, look and live. You're never going to worry about food, exercise or the state of your health ever again. That life-sucking merry-go-round is OVER!

A Surprise About Fitness & Diet

You've got to focus on what you want, or your workout or diet won't do much good!

Example: You may do aerobic exercise everyday but you focus on the fact that you are overweight.  You wonder why you can't lose the weight.  Your body is like a genie...whatever you focus on becomes reality.  If you believe the South Beach diet will work for you and you are focused on how good you're going to look in your "skinny" jeans,it's pretty much a done deal that you'll get in those skinny jeans.  But if you have a belief that you need to eat lean in order to stay lean, you'll always have to eat lean in order to maintain your body weight

This is what some people look like they are in great shape, yet eat whatever they want and exercise whenever they want.  They expect their body to look fine no matter what.  They don't have a big emotional charge on getting fat.

Make Up Your Own Rules About Health

I went waterskiing on Friday.  It was my first run of the season and the sun was baking!  I'm in my fifth month of pregnancy so I wanted to get some skiing in before my belly gets too big.  My mom waterskiied when she was pregnant.  I wonder if that's why both of her kids love to ski?

Since the moment I found out I was pregnant, it's amazing how many people have told me what I should do and not do for myself and baby.  Many of those people have never even had children.  The first question I usually receive is, "Did you have morning sickness?"  If I ever want more variety on do's and don'ts of pregnancy I can just go on the internet or pick up a birthing book.

I've decided to be my own best expert on this experience.  Everyone is their own best expert on their body anyway.  All you have to do is listen to the feedback your body gives you and follow what feels best.  I've had a perfect pregnancy.  Easy.  I eat and drink whatever I want.  I work as much or little as I desire.  I talk long hikes, waterski, snowski and fly our plane.  I relax when by body tells me to.  I do not fear for myself or my unborn child.  I focus on connection and meeting this perfect little being.

I suggest you trust your body.  It knows exactly what to do.  Your job is to relax, listen to your body and enjoy life!  Cheers!
